Good F*cking riddance. There is a war being waged in America. And on the front line are of course Black People as mere cannon fodder. And the great majority of us don't even know it as our communities fall down around us. But some Black people are fighting back by joining Occupy Wall Street or any other truly progressive grassroots (non neo liberal) movement, or that one kid out there in the ghetto merely striving to stay in school and pull down a good grade, yea I see you!
But there are far too many enemies in our own camp and this "Negro" was one of them and I'm tired of these,
a*s holes using rap to pollute and destroy the minds of the next generation,( while they get ghetto rich) when they could be using Hip Hop like Common, Nas, and The Roots to inspire Black youth to be visionaries to benefit the Black Community. The Black community is better off with him gone and I hope they bury him in that platinum Gumbi chain he was so proud of. Think I'm being harsh? Well just remember Martin Luther King, Malcom X, Viola Liuzzo, Medgar Evers, etc, took bullets to the brain for this fool. And those four little girls, Addie Mae Collins, Cynthia Wesley, Carole Robertson and Denise McNair were blown up in the 16th Street Baptist Church by the Klu Klux Klan in 1963 for fools like this. And look how he returned it! I hope they bury him in his Platinum Gumbi Chain

Occupy Wall Street is not progressive. Nor is it grassroots. It was started by AdBusters- which is a well funded media source which is read my predominantly well educated, upper middle class whites. Furthermore, Occupy is addressing problems that Blacks and other People of Color have been experiencing for the better part of the decade, if not longer. It's only now, when the children of wyaward middle class whites are finally feeling the full sting that the occupation even began.
Sure, there's also Occupy the Hood- but it's not making the news at all. In fact, non of the actual progress is being broadcast. See what's happening in Philly if you haven't.
Slim Dunkin is a product of the society. You are victim blaming. Slim might be a complete ass, and a disservice to Black folk, but the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. What exactly do you think Slim was before he was a minstrel? I'd wager he was at some point a kid merely striving to...stay alive.
Sure Black children need better role models- but who is willing to put in the time? Are you actively supporting our children by being the role model you wish they had?
How so you suppose these children are going to access Nas, when their parents don't necessarily have access to the internet or music stores?
Take aim at Slim all you want, but its his record label, the corporations that promote this bufoonery and armchair critics like you that are truly to blame for this.

Not to mention that the majority of Black people aint even paying attention. And the OWS is wrong because it was started not around a Black agenda? When Black people go around saying we don't have an agenda? I'm glade you're properly ensconce in your utopia, but there is only room for one in there. Therefore you can argue your ivory tower "blaming the victim" all you want and it only mollifies your self. But the fact is Black folks are on the chopping block, more so than ever. And pointy head intellectuals are not going to save us. Hell most of you have "moved on" ( after finding the Black problem "stubborn") to the greener pastures of the " no one is illegal undocumented pets". I mean they're so more pliable to work with, have a natural love for white people, and they want is a big screen TV! Meanwhile I'm gonna start telling the harsh truth to hopefully jar some black folks awake before it's too late, as my shot gun is double barrel and shoots buck shot so my aim is wide.
