This dude began his career as an Oakland, California street promoter…handing out concert fliers for local clubs, seven days of the week.
He ended up moving up in the music business world after landing a publishing gig with LaFace Records. Dude later joined the Def Jam Records team, which is run by fellow Oakland native, L.A. Reid…who sources say always looked out for our blind item.
Dude is responsible for signing many acts including Ciara, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy and even Beyonce Knowles.
His move from Oakland to Atlanta may have played a major role in forcing his double life to surface…a life which included his sexual conquests and escapades with a list of music company big wigs, including Keshia Cole’s manager, Manny Halley.
Both Manny and our blind item share a common bond of being Northern Californians who transplanted to Atlanta. We’ve also learned that dude had steamy sex sessions with manager to R&B singer Sammie, Malcolm Lee, who is also CEO of Empire Entertainment / MEG management.
Disturbingly, ALL of the men involved have girlfriends and wives. This while they’re living in the closet.
