Ashley Campbell, 27, allegedly had sex with the 16-year-old-boy after school in her car.


According to police, Campbell began the relationship with the Montrose Christian School student in autumn 2010.

‘He and Campbell would drive in her vehicle to a park in Montgomery County where they would engage in sexual intercourse.

‘All of the events occurred in Campbell’s vehicle off of school property and after school hours,’ police said in a news release.

Campbell, who lives in Cochranville, Pennsylvania, faces two counts of sexual abuse of a minor and two counts of a fourth-degree sex offense, reports the Washinton Examiner.

The alleged relationship is believed to have come to an end last month.

Ken Fentress, chancellor at the Rockville school, said that staff had received an anonymous email on February 3 alleging the relationship between Campbell and the boy and immediately notified police.

Detectives approached the student who confirmed the relationship and said that he was 16 when the sex started, police said according to the Examiner.

Campbell turned her self into police on Thursday after an arrest warrant was issued. She has been released on bail.

A school spokesman told the Examiner that she was fired this week from the school of 200 students.
